  • When is check-in/check-out?

    Check-in is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 12:00 p.m. Arrivals after midnight should notify the hotel in advance at 212-865-5700.

  • What amenities come standard at Pod 39?
    Every room is stocked with the essentials, including bath toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), towels, and a hairdryer. Additionally, each pod has a safe that’ll fit a laptop, charging ports, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a workspace with chair. The hotel also offers excellent amenities, including FREEHOLD Rooftop, an expansive bar overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
  • What amenities can I get by request?
    Irons, ironing boards, international adaptors, toiletries (toothbrush, shower caps, etc.), are available upon request. Pod 39 also offers same-day luggage storage, a service you can use before checking in or after checking out.
  • Is there parking at Pod 39?
    Pod 39 hotel guests can park at the nearby ICON Parking garage, located at 560 Third Avenue, at a discounted rate. This special rate does not include in-and-out privileges. Please have your parking slip validated by the front desk.
  • Are there subway lines and/or public transit near the hotel?
    Pod 39 is located 3 blocks south of Grand Central Terminal, which offers Metro-North Rail and Long Island Rail Road service, and the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S subway lines.
  • How old do I have to be to check-in?
    Unlike most hotels in NYC, Pod 39 Hotel guests must only be at least 18 years old to check-in. Just bring along a valid government-issued ID and we’ll have you living the #PodLife.
  • What forms of payment does the hotel accept?
    Pod 39 accepts all major credit cards. At this time, cash and check payments are not accepted.
  • What is the “facility fee”?
    Pod 39 charges a facility fee of $22.95 (inclusive of tax) per room, per night, in addition to the room rate. This universally applied fee allows us to provide the following services to all guests: Early check-in and late check-out when available, access to a local gym, morning coffee & tea service, high-speed Wi-Fi, calls within the United States, printing, same-day luggage storage, exclusive discounts at local venues and attractions, and walking tours.
  • What ADA / accessibility features does the hotel have?

  • Is Pod 39 pet-friendly?
    Woof, woof (dogspeak for yes!). The hotel welcomes small dogs (under 25 pounds) for a daily fee of $25 per night. Let us know before your visit if you plan on bringing a pup along.
